My new PCnC milling machine was built on
time and without any problems. PCnC Automations was very prompt and was helpful
and friendly. I really appreciate them going out of their way to give me free
training on my new machine. That saved me a lot of hassle and money. I was able
to pick it up locally which was super convenient & inexpensive to say the least.
Setting up the machines went well and was very straight forward. Loading all the
software & connecting the computer to the machine was entirely too easy. Having
never been exposed to the CNC world before I was amazed at how simple it all is.
Once I got all the stuff set up and plugged in it was time to use it. This was
very intimidating at first. However, after the personal training course and
doing some online tutorials, it all started to make since. I also went to the
ArtSoft and Vectric websites and downloaded their videos and went through those.
They walk you right through the controller and tooling software packages and
show you how to cut parts right away. I am really grateful to PCnC, for taking
the time to help me decide on my CNC machine. Every time I watch that machine
make a part I am totally amazed! As are my clients! Learning new stuff is not
always easy and their customer service has been amazingly stellar! I really
appreciate being able to call on the phone and talk to a person. They have made
the transition into the CNC world fun, easy, and exciting.
I have attached a video of my first Cut3D project milling out a small part with
the quality and accuracy I would expect from a high dollar milling machine.
Despite the amateur miscalculation I made and cut into the really cool PCnC
supplied clamp at the end of my tooling. But that’s why there made of plexi for
that very reason.
Thanks again for all you help & a MAGNIFICENT MACHINE!
I recently purchased a 24” x 36” CNC Router Table from
PCNC.My wife and I owned and operated a small business that produced and sold
steel wall art, and home furnishings.
Due to the recent economic down turn, and the high costs of producing our
product line, we made the decision to close our business, switch art mediums to
wood, and begin again on a smaller scale from our home.
We initially produced our artwork utilizing a scroll saw,
spiral saw, and other hand held tools. This was obviously time consuming, and
there were inconsistencies in our products. One of the key pieces of equipment
used in our steel business was a CNC Plasma Table. Having worked with this type
of equipment, and knowing how powerful it could be for our business, I started
researching table top CNC Router Tables that were affordable, well built, and
would fit in a limited space.
I looked at many different units that were affordable, but
were typically built cheaply, and would probably only be useful to someone
utilizing the unit on an occasional basis. Many of the units had plastic
components, and had limited access on the table top. When I found the table
offered by PCNC, I was instantly impressed by all the amenities offered for such
a reasonable price. The features of the machine rival or surpass machines
costing thousands of dollars more!
I contacted PCNC (Bill Johnson) via telephone to ask a
number of questions I had about the machine, and was pleasantly surprised with
the time that he spent with me. I did not feel pushed, and he gave me names of
a few competitors to check out and compare. I took his advice, but was so
impressed with the PCNC unit, that I decided to make the purchase. When the unit
arrived, I was even more impressed than I had been with the pictures on-line.
The machine is extremely well manufactured, and the components are of high
quality. The framework is heavy duty, and had extra reinforced cross braces.
The wiring is properly routed, and the electronics are well sealed, yet
accessible from the cabinet. The unit came pre-configured, and was relatively
easy to get started. The only two things that had to be connected were the
power cord, and printer cable, which connects to the PC.
Bill asked me to call him when I was ready to download my
software, and he would assist me with the process. He spent a considerable time
with me, and gave me many tips to make me feel more comfortable with the
machine, and directed me to many web-sites offering on-line training. The
training is definitely worth spending time on!The operating software (Mach 3)
that comes with the unit, is a very powerful program, and is one of the best on
the market.
I also purchased carving software (VCarve Pro) for my
machine, which is also very powerful, and relatively easy to use. The software
is offered at a discount through PCNC, and if you are contemplating its
purchase, you cannot go wrong ordering it through them!
PCNC has encouraged me to contact them with any questions,
and has never made me feel as though I was wasting their time. They have helped
me with design questions, and operational questions, and have assisted me in
making my initial cuts. In short, the technical support has been incredible!!
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Johnson,
Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much we love the PcNC Router
that we purchased from your company. We originally were going to purchase the
smaller model, but decided on the 36"x60" model, and we are so glad that we did.
Not only have we created some beautiful wall art, door and address signs, etc.,
but with the larger model we were able to accept a contract for custom wood work
for a kitchen remodel. We couldnt be happier with this machine and its
abilities! My husband has spent a lifetime in machine shops and has a clear
understanding of how this machine works. I, on the other hand, have zero
experience. But after viewing the tutorials, I set up, designed and produced
beautiful product! It was so easy! We want you to know that we will recommed
your machines to anyone! Thanks for a great product and the great support from
you that comes with it!
Sincerely,
Gary and Margie Sommers
